I've never written a review for a doctor before, despite seeing 15+ different physicians. But, Dr. Cintron is the only person I've met that deserves one. Dr. Cintron single-handedly changed my life. I truly believe I wouldn't be here without him. I started seeing doctors at 11 years old for my condition and didn't meet him until I was 18. He was the ONLY person that believed me. For the first time in my life, I didn't have to convince a doctor that my pain was real and I wasn't faking it. Majority of doctors don't take minors seriously, especially when it comes to back pain (which usually only affects older adults). But, he was different. After performing several tests, he got me accepted into Mayo Clinic. Dr. Cintron spent hours creating my application, he sent my test results, images, and a personal message convincing Mayo to accept my case. I had my back surgery 1 year ago and this is the best I've felt in 10 years because of his determination to improve my quality of life. Out of all the doctors/neurologists I've been in contact with (which is more than I can count), he is the absolute BEST option out there. The 1 hour drive that I take to his office is 100% WORTH IT.

Dr. Cintron has a great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable about dementia and Alzheimer's disease. His staff are not very responsive and no one answers the phones. You have to leave a message, which is usually not returned.
